earth day is nice and all but one day a year for the " earth " is sort of absurd... we are the earth.. it's " us " day.. there is no division in nature certainly not between a planet and it's fauna / flora ... when people talk about saving the earth they really are talking about saving the living , biological parts.. us , cute furry mammals.. the minerals and some life will be ok.. the planet will be here till the sun blows up and life may continue to find a way, ( surely grasshoppers would evolve grey matter and take over the planet, and drive little grasshopper cars and.. ) but there needs to more realization that the environment is us, the earth isn't some other thing, it is the mother, conscious as you
