nine years since "9/11" and what has it brought? when will the violence against our brothers and sisters end? anger is not an antidote for anger. violence does not end violence. more death is not a way. peace is the way, the only way. you can not kill an ideology. al qaeda and muslim extremism are a symptom of the worlds extremism, non-harmonious ideologies are present in different ways in all countries, not only in afgansastan, iraq, and the united states. time to stop identification with ideologies, with the ego-sense as separated consciousness, we live in an interconnected realm, how we treat each other is how we treat ourselves. realize this primary unity. only love, compassion, and understanding can transcend division. the time is always now, for love, will bring love

My silence, like an expanding sphere,
spreads everywhere.
My silence spreads like a radio song, above, beneath, left and right, within and without.
My silence spreads like a wildfire of bliss; the dark thickets of sorrow and the tall oaks of pride are all burning up.
My silence, like the ether, passes through everything, carrying the songs of the earth, atoms, and stars into the halls of His infinite mansion.
- Yogananda

A million suns are ablaze with light;
The sea of blue spreads in the sky,
The fever of life is stilled, and all stains are washed away; when I sit in the midst of that world.
Hark to the unstruck bells and drums! Take your delight in love!
Rains pour down without water and the rivers are streams of light.
One Love it is that pervades the whole world,
few there are who know it fully:
They are blind who hope to see it by the light of reason, that reason which is the cause of separation-
The House of Reason is very far away!
How blessed is Kabir, that admist this great joy he sings within his own vessel.
It is the music of the meeting of the soul with soul;
It is the music of the forgetting of sorrows;
It is the music that transcends all coming in and all going forth
- Kabir

All things are created by the Om;
The love-form is His body.
He is without form, without quality, without decay;
Seek union with Him!
But that formless God takes a thousand forms in the eyes of His creatures:
He is pure and indestructible,
His form is infinite and fathomless,
He dances in rapture, and waves of form arise from His dance.
The body and the mind cannot contain themselves,
when they are touched by His great joy.
He is immersed in all consciousness, all joys, and all sorrows;
He has no beginning and no end,
He holds all within His bliss.

"It is not enough simply to wish that love and compassion should increase in us. We need to make a sustained effort, again and again, to cultivate the positive aspects within us – and the key here is constant familiarity. The nature of human thoughts and emotions is such that the more you engage in them, the more you consciously develop them, the more powerful they become." Dalai Lama

Awake! awake O sleeper of the land of shadows, wake! expand!
I am in you and you in me, mutual in love divine:
Fibres of love from man to man thro Albions pleasant land.
In all the dark Atlantic vale down from the hills of Surrey
A black water accumulates, return Albion! return!
Thy brethren call thee, and thy fathers, and thy sons,
Thy nurses and thy mothers, thy sisters and thy daughters
Weep at thy souls disease, and the Divine Vision is darkend:
Thy Emanation that was wont to play before thy face,
Beaming forth with her daughters into the Divine bosom
Where hast thou hidden thy Emanation lovely Jerusalem
From the vision and fruition of the Holy-one?
I am not a God afar off, I am a brother and friend;
Within your bosoms I reside, and you reside in me:
Lo! we are One; forgiving all Evil; Not seeking recompense!
Ye are my members O ye sleepers of Beulah, land of shades!

"Just as a stone flung into the water becomes the centre and cause of many circles, and as sound diffuses itself in circles in the air: so any object, placed in the luminous atmosphere, diffuses itself in circles, and fills the surrounding air with infinite images of itself. And is repeated, the whole every-where, and the whole in every smallest part. " - Leonardo Da Vinci

"raise yourself above all time, become Eternity; then you will understand God. Believe that nothing is impossible for you; think yourself immortal and capable of understanding all, all arts. all sciences, the nature of every living being. Mount higher than the highest height; descend lower than the lowest depth. Draw into yourself all sensations of everything ever created, fire and water, dry and moist, imagining that you are everywhere, on earth, in the sea , in the sky, that you are not yet born, in the maternal womb, adolescent, old, dead, beyond death. If you embrace in your thought all things at once, times, places, substances, qualities, quantities, you may understand God" - The Mind to Hermes

"Who can imagine or describe the glories and beauties of the Unseen? Living in a world of gross material forms, we know nothing about the ethereal forms of Life which inhabit the immensity of space; we are prone to imagine that we know all that exists, but our reflection tells us that the infinite realm of the Unknown is as much greater than the realm of that which is known as the ocean is greater than a pebble lying upon its shore. Nature is one great living whole, and the spiritual power acting within her is omnipotent and eternal. He who desires to know Universal Nature and the Eternal Spirit, must rise above personal and temporal considerations, and look upon nature from the standpoint of the Eternal and Infinite. He must, so to say, step out of the shell of his limited and circumscribed personal consciousness, and rise up to the top of the mountain, from which he may enjoy a view of the wide expanse of the All. He who lives at the periphery sees only a part of the All; only from the centre of the circle can we survey the actions of light in all its directions as the beams radiate from the centre. Therefore, the Rosicrucians say that he who knows the One knows All, while he who believes to know many things, knows only the illusions of the shadow produced by the light of the One."
